Chuck Haselwood's trip from a small-town farm in Ellensburg to a popular entrepreneur and neighborhood leader in Bremerton is a testimony to his perseverance and business spirit. Born in 1923, Chuck's story started with a strong choice to leave the farming life and hitchhike to Bremerton, where he began his occupation operating at a gas terminal. His solution in The second world war under General Patton just honed his drive, leading him to enter the secondhand cars and truck company after returning home. Partnering with Danny Jones, Chuck introduced his very own gasoline station and marketed cars and trucks, ultimately forming a lasting collaboration with Bud Higgs to develop Chuck & Buds-- a car dealer that focused on consumer service, using guarantees uncommon at the time.



Chuck's unrelenting drive for development led him to increase his organization past utilized automobiles. Chuck's legacy lives on not just in the cars and trucks he sold, yet in his deep commitment to his community, which continues to grow in Kitsap Region today.
